La Formentara is located near the Villaggio Aracci, on the road that brings to the Due Santi Pass. It is an ancient village of "alpeggio", formed by "baite", rural mountain houses, covered with "piagne" a tipical stone. The oratory inside the country is devoted to St. Bartholomew, celebrated at the end of August.
